How Toxic is Your Cell Phone?

On the one hand, as a entrepreneur and yogi, my Blackberry is a friend that gives me the freedom to get work done anywhere in the world. On the other hand, I have long worried my Blackberry could be an enemy causing damage to my brain. What I now know is just how poorly my phone and phone service provider rank in terms of the amount of radiation emitted. The Environmental Working Group, a NPO dedicated to using the power of public information to protect the public and the environment, published a list of the amount of radiation emitted by all phones on given service providers. I learned that my Blackberry Curve 8330 on Verizon Wireless service ranked as one of the worst cell phones with the highest level of radiation emitted! It has made me reconsider how much I truly love my beloved Blackberry given it’s not showing me nearly the same love in return.
